Granny's Cooking Made Easy, LLC, was established in honor of our grandmothers who have taught us how to make so many home-cooked meals from scratch.  Mrs. Bertha Wilson, affectionately known by all as "Granny", was the original founder, owner, and chef of the Florida Avenue Grill, a landmark in Washington, DC.  She made so many wonderful meals for every family gathering.  Every meal she prepared was simply delicious-- fried chicken, pot roast, potato salad, macaroni & cheese, collard greens, pound cakes, and sweet potato pies, just to name a few.  In fact, she could even make food taste great that you didn't like.  For example,  as a child, I remember her making black-eyed peas taste great!!!  That's when I believed she had a magical stove that could make anything taste scrumptious!  What she really had was a wonderful gift and talent that I'm so grateful that I as well as other family members were able to glean from her tutelage.
